Mixolydian

In music theory, the term mode or modus is used in a number of distinct senses, depending on context. Its most common use may be described as a type of musical scale coupled with a set of characteristic melodic and harmonic behaviors. In the modern age, the Mixolydian mode applies to a scale whose 7th tone is minor, and offers a conflicting sound when compared to the rest of the scale. This idea of conflict is the basis of our game, Mixolydian: a fight to survive against all odds, one note at a time.
